This end grain cutting board is crafted from Black Limba and Black Walnut hardwoods. Hand holds are routed into the ends and small rubber feet are mounted with stainless steel screws. This board also features a juice groove around the top surface.

Limba, or “Korina”, is a West African hardwood most commonly used in the making of guitars. When figure of black or dark brown streaks occur in the wood, the aesthetic variant is known as “Black Limba”. These streaks are created as the tree expels non-essential minerals it draws in from its vast roots. Black Limba is a beautiful wood for end grain boards as the black figure usually resembles a Rorschach test.
